About

The Artist

Born in Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City, Jobe Derick grew up shaped by bass-heavy sounds and 808s — a love sparked by his elder brother's loud hip-hop at home. He moved to Las Piñas around age 10, where he would eventually find his true calling.

Before music, Jobe was a star player on his school's varsity basketball team. In 2018, he made the pivotal decision to quit varsity and commit fully to rap — a choice that set everything in motion.

Influenced by Lil Wayne's mixtape era, Filipino hip-hop pioneers like Abra and Gloc-9, and the underground sounds of Bugoy na Koykoy and Owfvck Gang, Jobe developed a style rooted in intricate wordplay, multi-syllabic rhymes, and authentic storytelling.

Today, he continues to evolve — not just as a rapper, but as an artist and entrepreneur — committed to building his name, his sound, and his future.
